Moodle is an additional module that can easily be integrated with your KnowledgeNET. By integrating Moodle into your KnowledgeNET you get access to a range of additional tools to support teaching and learning in the classroom. It is important to note that Moodle requires all users to have a unique email address. If students do not have an email associated with their account KnowledgeNET will generate a default email address for each student e.g.


Types of activities you can setup in your Moodle:

  • Live chat
  • Wikis for collaborative projects
  • Online quizzes
  • Self Assessments and assignments
  • Surveys
  • Glossaries
  • Databases


To access Moodle go to your class page and click on the Moodle link in the navigator. From here you can create units of work for your class to access e.g. Write all about it! Newspapers
